swift enemies
framed in the weeping sadness
of a single moment
sweeping betrayal
out of the corners
of our sinful room
balancing on a tightrope
of cleverly spun lies
not a second too soon,
just a moment too late
both of us deserving
the bleeding karma,

turning the churning tide
inside the mouth of
a consuming ocean
