of it all
is a pretty new beginning
for someone else.
in place of the gilded space
we once dwelled
someone else
might find exquisite paradise
and I wish them well.
the beginning of our story
was never told,

in the precious sliver
of shivering silver hours
that we stole
and the orphans
of our dreams
will paint a new wish
on the starlit heavens wall
because this really is,
the end of it all.
pack your memories up in toile boxes

I have moved on
to a place where I can never be found.

the goodbye

just hollowed bones
