and so, today, at 3:43 pm, on a gorgeously sunny, ordinary afternoon, in the exam room at my Dr's office, on University Ave, here in the arctic tundra of Syracuse, I got to hear for the very first time, the wonderous little heartbeat of my baby.
It was even more magical than I could ever convey with words, and although it saddens me that I have no partner to share the magicalness of it all with, I come here, to share it with you.
It thumped rapid and steady and clear, and was the first time, that I can honestly say, that it all became so fiercely and exqusitely real. the magnitude of it all, felt so overwhelmingly beautiful.
I didn't cry though. I always thought that I would. I think that I was to relieved to cry.

and it was, the most beautiful thing, that I have ever heard.
thank you for witnessing here, one of the biggest milestones in my ever evolving life, as a ( knocked up) Spinster.
I love you all.
