SO, today, the clouds were endless grey, and it rained incesscantly, and just before 4:00 a sliver of sun appeared over the horizon, and burst into a rainbow, stretching across the now sun filled sky. I was kind of blinded by the light of it, and had to dig around in my purse to find some sunglasses.
I did find some fetching leopard print ones, and tossed them on, and instantly my world was tinted UV ray blue. The world looks so interesting, in only shades of blue. and I liked that for a moment, my whole little world, was blue. blue sky, blue clouds, blue sun, blue cars, blue people, doing happy blue people things.
the world turned blue, and I came home to find * this* new diary.
a gift from an amazing friend, the goddess known as Gingerbug
I was stunned. She designed * this * for ~me~
I am beyond touched. For those of you who have been reading GingerBug's Diary, you know that she is going through an extraordinarily difficult time right now, coping with an almost unbearable loss. and in the midst of all this chaos, and tragedy, and greyness she peeked through the clouds, and sent me this diary turned blue.
How can I ever thank her enough?
there are not enough stars in the sky, to spell out thank you, in all the ways that I wish I could. I wish I could share my glasses with you, and magically turn all your grey skies into bursting with sun, blue.
but alas, I will have to settle for making a wish for you, and sending it flickering into the night, on the fairy wings of gossamer dreams.
I wish your sleeping world, be always ethereal blue with twinkling stars, and unicorns. And may your waking hours be blue sun and ice cream cones shared with enchanting friends.
old starlight - new starbright
