The ambrosia'd tuscan sun sits haloed behind me, and the tiered roman skirt of all the tumbling green hills are spread out at my feet as the eeriely silent ancient coliseum is lit with a thousand glistening italian blue stars and where am I, you ask?
Here, in Rome, at a neon internet cafe, listening to really bad italian pop, and wishing I did not have to go back to my hotel room. The bed is much to big and lonely and the silk wallpaper reminds me of things best left unsaid.
I will be home in 3 days.
is life just a countdown until the end of everything?
