Last night, I had a visually stunning dream. It was cerrulean and beautiful. I was swimming in the ocean. Deep rhythmic azure waves licking at my face, but never tasting of salt. and the night was filled with stars, and the blue fell in deepening satin layers of chinois to hyacinth and melted into a glistening sea of turquoise. Eventually I grew weary of swimming, tired of remaining on the surface but petrified of going under. and the sea became an abyssal womb. and the night was ready to swallow me whole, and just before I drowned, the sky was filled from vista to vista, with an orchestra of shooting, shimmering falling stars.
I watched from the rolling waves, as the stars exploded into infinite little slivers of silvery fairydust and fell like neverending raindrops. and then I woke up.
there was glitter on my pillow.
I should have made a wish.
I wonder what it all meant.
