I am not lollipop suburbia. I can't seem to find my place in this universe.
I want to live on the edge of the world, in a glass house by the sea.
where daylight is fleeting, and starry night skies stretch out endlessly, and cover me,
when I am awake, and when I am sleeping.
The ocean as my lullabye
and you at my side.
where jasmine scented milk foams,
into the blissful tide of rose petals
floating like pink angels
in the bathtub,
of the glass house,
by the sea
and candles
are the only light
to penetrate the darkness,
of this edened eternity,
where you read me
the transcripts
of your graffitied heart
woven into
your elusive poetry
and the calico kittens
wrestle with each other,
by the foot of our swan shaped bed
and we never lose the remote control
and never have to leave the spinning web
where your kiss goodnight forever awaits me
in the glass house, perched on the edge of the sea
where the edges are blurred, and we lay, forever tangled up and nestled, like snowflakes at midnight
in the shimmering dreamscape of a fairy tale love, that does not seem to want, to wait, for me.
old starlight - new starbright
