Happy Valentine's day to one and all.

I never thought my valentine would be so short... but my one true love has golden brown hair, hazel green eyes, and weighs 26 lbs and even more wondrous, she has just started walking all on her own! Yes, at 9 months of age, Sierra Brooke Estrella is walking!

We are flying to florida on Valentine's day. Hopefully I will get to take her swimming ( my grandmother promised to heat the pool, since it will only be about 70' but I am greatly looking forward to a change of pace.

Some things have been so much harder than I ever anticipated, but so many many many things have been more joyous than I could ever have imagined.

I miss having someone else who is as emotionally vested in Sierra as I am. When she was taking her first steps, I called my mother and sister, but I felt a sense of sadness for sierra, because she only has me.

but because I have her,

I finally have everything and more.

now I am just another boring bragging ( spinster) suburban mom.
