and so it is my birthday,
and this is what I wish for,
oh so many things,
I wish that sierra will always be safe and happy,
and I wish that someday she will have a sibling,
and that perhaps there is one more love letter, in my future,
and that I will oneday walk again on white sand, and sit on a secluded beach with someone I love, at midnight,
and to always sleep softly in scented sheets and never to run out of downy vanilla lavender,
and to someday get a french manicure again,
and to not feel guilty, because there are so very many bills to pay,
and a bubble bath, with so many bubbles that they float over the sides, and candles and champagne, and a view of NYC lit up at night, all around the edges of the porcelain room
and to always~ always~ always~ remember how lucky I am, to share my life, with someone as beautiful and precious as sierra.
She is the best birthday present in the world ~
and this I never forget!
