are we all just the pale ghosts of someone else's memory? Can we dream ourself into existence, is the past as intangible as the future?
They say that everyone has a story that will break your heart. My heart is a diagram of foolishness.
Take me ~far~ far away, from here. Take me somewhere all misted, and grey, filled with the scent of early morning wild flowers. Take me back, into the glass room, with a ceiling of blue icicle stars that spell out my favourite words."( you flicker and you're beautiful)" Canopy over me in the downpour of softly falling rain. Colour me passion red, with your kisses, trace the velveeteen path of my neck and monogram me with your insatiable mouth. I belonged to you, long before you ever said hello, and held onto you long after you never said goodbye.
and so I wait, for you, in the tangled shadows of glittering regret. and I dream that I leave this world first, so that in the white clouded room, you will stand before me. and take me back into your strong sheltering arms
and hold me
for one last dance
for one last time.
